In Albion Online, your equipment you wear defines the role and class. Check out the official Albion Online Character BuilderĮach piece of gear has different skills and unique effects. Unlike Character Customization, Build Customization is near-endless. In the near future, we can see that this will not be on their priorities list and we should not expect it to improve at all. You have little to no character customization in Albion Online. One of the biggest MMORPG features Albion Online lacks will be its character customization. Despite these changes, PVP players will continue to see updates for PVP such as the Call of Arms Update which includes the new faction warfare system. The latest Rise of Avalon update was a big update focusing on PVE and dungeons, hoping the PVE player base are having a better experience overall in the game. However, in the recent years, Sandbox Interactive has taken a step back towards Albion being so intensely PVP focused and balanced the game more towards PVP and PVE. If you want to master being a wizard and the next day a Sword and Shield user, you are able to by equipping the corresponding gears to that class. This extends to class specializations as well. There is no specialization and restrictions, you can master all crafts and specialities if you choose to do so. What this means is, players have the opportunity to craft every single piece of gear whether it’s tools, weapons or armour to trade or sell at local marketplaces throughout the open world. Gameplay PVE GameplayĪlbion Online has boasted being a fully player-driven economy in which every item in the game is crafted by players as opposed to monster, dungeons, or raid drops. While it’s combat isn’t top of the line here, it really does make up with the rest of what the game offers in it’s place such as it’s Single Server and it’s full loot PVP and sandbox systems. That is Albion Online Combat in a nutshell. Imagine an unrefined Ultima Online combat system but with less features but more engaging and feature full than RuneScape. CombatĪlbion Online adopts the older traditional MMORPG style except for it’s even more dull. This means all their resources are poured directly into Albion Online, maintaining it as an MMORPG smash hit. Sandbox Interactive has mentioned in many press releases that it has no intentions in the past nor future to develop any new games. Fayiette Steam Stats Is Albion Online Still Good?
